Ramapo Anesthesia Welcomes New Site Director To Catskill Regional Medical Center Ramapo

Ramapo Anesthesia (R.A.) is pleased to announce Ricardo A. Leano, M.D., FACHE has joined their staff of anesthesiologists at Catskill Regional Medical Center as site director.

“At Ramapo Anesthesia we are committed to recruiting physicians of the highest caliber to join our team.” said R.A. President Dr. Richard Clarkin. “Dr. Leano will be an excellent leader and addition to our team as site director for Catskill Regional.”

Most recently Dr. Leano was the Medical Director of the Anesthesia Department at Hialeah Hospital in Hialeah, FL. and Anesthetix of TEAMHealth in Palm Gardens, FL. He has also served as a consultant anesthesiologist/interventional pain for a number of hospitals on the east coast.

Dr. Leano is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He received his Medical Doctor Degree from Universidad Nacional De Colombia in Bogota, Colombia. He completed his internship at Caguas Regional Hospital in Caguas, Puerto Rico and his anesthesia residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Dr. Leano also graduated from the University of Miami, School of Business with a Master of Business Administration, Specialization in Health Administration and Policy where he achieved an Award of Academic Merit for Academic Excellence. Additionally he earned a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate from the American Society for Qualified Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Ramapo Anesthesia (R.A.) is proud to announce that Jerome H. You, MD has joined its growing staff of anesthesiologists at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, N.Y.

For the past four years, Dr. You was Attending Anesthesiologist at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, N.J. as well as the hospital’s Bariatric Surgery Anesthesiology Division Chief. He also served as the medical director for the hospital’s Hyperbaric Oxygen Program from 2009-2010.

Dr. You graduated from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, N.J. He completed his anesthesia residency program at Mount Sinai School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, N.Y. and his internship at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, N.J.

Dr. You is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesia and is Hyperbaric Oxygen Dive Supervision Certified. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and New Jersey State Society of Anesthesiologists. He co-authored Advances in Anesthesia, Anesthetic Considerations for Nonobstretric Surgery during Pregnancy, and delivered several presentations on complex anesthetic management.

Ramapo Anesthesia Expands Pain Management Services In New Jersey Ramapo

Practice adds locations in Florham Park and Lyndhurst

Patients in northern New Jersey now have convenient access to quality pain management services. Ramapo Pain Management and Medical Services, a division of Ramapo Anesthesia (R.A.), recently began offering pain management services in Lyndhurst and Florham Park in addition to their Park Ridge location.

“We continue to grow to meet the needs of the communities we serve,” said R.A. President, Dr. Richard Clarkin. “We are committed to expanding our pain management services so that we can provide our patients with convenient access to high quality care.”

The team is lead by Drs. Paul Burns and Dilip Subhedar, who are both Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. Dr. Subhedar is also Board Certified in Acupuncture and Disability Analysis. He has been with R.A. for more than 13 years, and performed his residency in Anesthesiology at New York Medical College, New York, N.Y. Dr. Burns brings over 20 years experience, and completed his residency at The New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center, New York, N.Y.

The on-site physician at the Lyndhurst office is Dr. Ravi Naik, Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. Dr. Naik completed his residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, N.Y. and a Fellowship in Pain Management at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, N.Y.

The pain management group also includes Dr. Timothy Mims, Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Board Certified in Pain Management, who provides services in Suffern, N.Y. as well as other locations as needed. Dr. Mims completed his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, N.Y. and a Pain Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering/New York Hospital, Cornell/Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, N.Y.

R.A. is also providing services at the Florham Park Ambulatory Surgery Center, where Dr. Anthony Russo has been promoted to Director of Anesthesia Services. He joined Ramapo Anesthesia in 2008 and is Board Certified in Anesthesiology. Also providing services at the Ambulatory Surgery Center is Dr. Tracey Jay Krzanowski. A Board Certified Anesthesiologist, Dr. Krzanowski served as Chief Resident at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, N.J. prior to joining R.A.
