Dr. Neal Kurtti joined Ramapo Anesthesia (R.A.) in 1991 and currently serves as Vice President of R.A.P.C., Chairman of the Performance Improvement Programs at all R.A.P.C. facilities. As Chairman of Performance Improvement, Neal is responsible for the formulation, development, and administration of R.A.’s Performance Improvement program.

He has created and implemented a nationally recognized program which monitors and evaluates the quality of anesthesia care delivered to every patient at all of the facilities we provide services. His Performance Improvement Progam is ranked within the top 1% of performance improvement programs in the country.

Neal develops and presents reports to physicians, and administrators, which analyzes R.A.’s practice and performance, striving for top-quality patient care, safety, and satisfaction.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.. Neal received his Fellowship and served as Chief Resident, Cardiovascular Anesthesiology at New York University Medical Center.

Neal also holds a Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesiology from Harvard Medical School, The Children’s Hospital. He is a member of the trauma committee at Good Samaritan Hospital and a contributing author in the textbook "Trauma: Anesthesia and Intensive Care."

Neal performed his undergraduate work at Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y., where he was an Academic All-American and All-American football player. Neal resides in New City, N.Y. with his wife Angela and their three children, Amanda, Alana, and Dana.
